BRADSHAW PT50 Pedestrian Tow Tractor Overview

The PT50 is a versatile pedestrian tow tractor with the ability to tow 500kg and a payload capacity of 250kg. Featuring three wheels and a 24V DC controller, the PT50 is agile yet powerful. This electric vehicle is suitable for use across many industrial sites including warehouses, distribution centres, and factories, as well as across commercial premises including airports, train stations and sports venues among others. Including a number of safety features, the PT50 is the ideal addition to most electric vehicle fleets.

Tow Hitch

The PT50 has the option to add a variety of different tow hitches to complement your application requirements. As standard, we fit a 20mm pin multi-jaw tow hitch to the PT50, but there is the option remove this completely, or choose from a 25mm pin multi-jaw hitch, combined 50mm ball and 25mm single jaw, 50mm ball adapter, or any other site-specific tow hitch. 

Battery Options

The PT50 is available in two battery options, either the 24v 185Ah lead-acid or the 24v 154Ah gel maintenance-free. All battery options offer exceptional power for the tow tractor, ensuring a towing capacity of 500kg and a payload capacity of 250kg with a practical run-time for industrial and commercial purposes.

Braking Systems

To provide safe and efficient braking on the PT50, we have included electronic regenerative braking under deceleration and an automatically applied transmission parking brake when the vehicle is stationary, including the operator and surrounding pedestrians, are safe at all times. Additionally, the PT50 includes dynamic speed sensing as standard to prevent over-speeding in all driving conditions, especially ideal for pedestrian controlled tow tractors and electric vehicles.
