The Ice Blaster 15/80 is an innovative blasting system which uses dry-ice pellets (compressed CO2 snow) as an abrasive. Setting new standards in surface cleaning, the dry ice blasting process is very similar to that of sand blasting. In principle, the pellets are injected into a jet of compressed air, accelerated to speed in excess of 150m/s and fired at the surface. Dry ice pellets impact the contaminated surface, causing the dirt to go brittle and fall from the surface. At this point the pellets change from a solid to a gaseous state and blast away the dirt without leaving any residue.

These industrial parts cleaners are the first biological products in the Kärcher parts cleaner range. The process of biological cleaning is pH neutral, non toxic or hazardous & non flammable. The innovative concept of using solvent free cleaning detergent works by breaking down hydrocarbons into CO2 & H2O via micro-organisms. These microbes are naturally occurring and turn destructive material into non toxic substances. This waterbased solution heated to 38ºC (optimum cleaning temperature) removes grease, oil and soot from parts as well as solvent cleaners. The solution does not need changing due to natural de-composition and maintains a high cleaning performance for long periods of time. Cleaning is performed at an inbuilt sturdy sink by means of a washing brush with integral cleaning liquid feed.
