After three years at the development stage, Kawasaki, one of the pioneers of low ground-pressure vehicles, introduced the diesel Mule in response to the demands of the market. Judging by the reaction from all sectors, the wait was worthwhile.
The four-wheel drive diesel option delivers immediate benefits in terms of performance, load capability and efficiency. The power and performance of the 23 hp, liquid-cooled engine punches out power – and torque – in abundance, even at low revs.
The diesel Mule also increases carrying capacity with the strengthening of both the chassis and suspension to accommodate an increase in cargo load weight of up to 40% over the existing petrol model.
For extra power, strength, all around convenience and economy, the 3010 Diesel is a tough act to follow.

~It’s compact, it’s lightweight, it’s cost-effective, and, it’s one of the most sought after little workhorses of its kind, packing many of the features of its larger stablemates in the Kawasaki Mule line-up, such as dual mode rear axle, automotive torque-sensitive transmission and electric start, in addition to rack and pinion steering.
A whole host of duties fall well within the scope of this sturdy performer, which is powered by an economical, 10 hp, single cylinder, four-stroke petrol engine.
With a tight turning circle of just 3.2 metres and with a width of 1.29 metres, the 550 is equipped for the tightest corners, but possesses enough power to haul two adults and a 160 kg cargo throughout the longest working day. An optional tow bar increases load capacity by a further 410 kg.
Though small in stature, the 550 is a tireless worker and can be towed behind a car or even carried on the cargo bed of a pick-up adding to the sheer versatility of this extremely robust and reliable little workmate.

With its permanent 4x4, high torque engine and advanced suspension, it’s suited to a wide variety of tasks, making it the ideal machine for all-round use particularly within the agricultural sector.
Its limited slip differential creates lighter steering as well as ensuring that both front wheels, not just the one without traction, are always powered by engine torque.
It’s also Kawasaki’s only KLF model available with a dual range gearbox. This provides the option of a ‘High’ ratio with five forward gears and reverse, for general duties and light loads, or a ‘Low’ ratio, also with five forward gears and reverse, for climbing sharp gradients or pulling heavier loads.

If you want the most manoeuvrable and agile ATV of it’s kind, you want the KLF300-B, as many local authorities, municipals and anyone with a need to turn in and out of tight corners, will testify.
It’s the tightest-turning machine in its class. Although unique is a term bandied far too freely, the KLF300-B justifies such status as the only ATV in the UK with dual-mode, lockable, rear differential.
This single feature sets it apart providing unrivalled manoeuvrability and delivering lighter steering and tighter, low speed turns even on soft surfaces such as grass where damage is minimised.
